How to Make a Vision Board On Pinterest (So Easy!)
Have you ever considered using Pinterest to make a vision board?
As you may know, a vision board is a visual way to display your goals and dreams, helping you focus on what you want to manifest or create in your life.
Traditionally, vision boards were made as paper collages. You would get a large poster board and paste cut-out images and words on the poster to represent your dreams and aspirations. This is still a fun and crafty way to make a vision board, but alternatively, by using Pinterest, you can create one online with no scissors or glue required!
Creating a vision board on Pinterest lets you easily gather and organize images that reflect your goals and dreams, making it easy to keep your ideas focused. You can revisit those ideas anytime, and make edits with ease.
Making Pinterest vision boards is simple. It’s a creative, inspiring way to set goals and manifest your best life. Let’s dive in and learn how!

How to Make a Vision Board on Pinterest
Creating a digital vision board on Pinterest is a fun and powerful way to bring your goals to life. Follow these easy steps to get started!
Step 1: Set Up Your Pinterest Account
If you donāt have a Pinterest account, creating one is quick and free.
- Go to Pinterest.com and click āSign upā in the top right corner.
- Enter your email, create a password, and add your age. Alternatively, you can sign up with Google or Facebook.
- Click āContinueā to finish setting up your account.
Once your account is ready, you can start creating your vision board!
Step 2: Create a New Pinterest Board for Your Vision Board
Pinterest organizes images (or āpinsā) into boards, so youāll need to create a board for your ideas.
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner, then select āSavedā to view your boards (if you already have an account.)
- If you’re starting from scratch and have no boards, search for any image you want to start with. Then create a board from there. Simply click the ā+ā button and select āBoard.ā
- Next, name your board. This might be something like ā2025 Vision Boardā or āLiving My Dream Life.ā
- Set the board to āSecretā if youād like to keep it private. This option is great if you want to keep your goals personal.
Now your vision board is ready for pins! As a side note, you can create as many boards on Pinterest as you’d like. I have around 140 Pinterest boards myself, including group boards and secret boards. (I’ve had my account since the very beginning!)
Step 3: Start Searching for Images That Inspire You
Pinterest has zillions of images to fit every theme, so think about what each goal or dream looks like.
- Use the search bar at the top of the Pinterest page. Try keywords related to your goals, like ātravel inspiration,ā āhealthy lifestyle,ā āfinancial abundance,ā or āhome decor.ā
- Filter by āPinsā to find images from all over Pinterest or select āAll Pinsā for a broader search.
As you browse, pin anything that resonates with your goals and vision.
Step 4: Pin Images to Your Vision Board
Once you find images that inspire you, like positive quotes, fashion, or whatnot, add them to your board.
- Click on an image you like, then select āSave.ā
- Choose your vision board from the list, and your image will automatically be added.
This step is where your vision board comes to life! Select images that truly represent what you want in different areas of your life, whether itās related to your career, relationships, health, travel, or something else.
Step 5: Organize and Curate Your Vision Board
Once youāve saved a variety of images, take a moment to review your board and organize it.
- Remove any images that donāt fully resonate with your vision.
- Arrange images so that theyāre visually appealing and reflect the goals that matter most to you. (There’s an “organize” button at the top of each board.)
- Group related images (such as travel destinations, motivational quotes, or lifestyle ideas) to keep your board organized.
Pinterest makes it easy to edit and move pins around, so you can always update your vision board as your goals evolve.
Step 6: Review Your Vision Board Regularly
To keep your vision board current, revisit it often.
- Set a reminder to check in with your vision board weekly or monthly.
- Reflect on your progress and add or update pins as your goals shift.
- Use your vision board as a tool to stay motivated, visualize success, and take inspired action toward your dreams.
You Can Also Create Collages with Pinterestās Built-in Tools!
Pinterest has a new feature that you can use to create collages by combining multiple pins into one layout. This feature is ideal if you want to see all your vision board images together in one visual. Hereās how to make a collage:
- Open your vision board and select the pins you want to include.
- Look for the “collage” option and arrange your images as you’d like.
- Once youāre happy with your collage, save it as a new pin within your board.
Don’t Forget to Print Out Your Vision Board Collage!
If youād like to keep a physical reminder of your vision board, Pinterest makes it easy to download and print your collages.
- After creating a collage, click the download button to save it to your computer or phone.
- From there, you can print it out and display it somewhere youāll see daily, like at your desk or on your wall.
