7 Magical High Vibration Places to Go for Spiritual Practice

Here are some beautiful and magical places to visit for spiritual purposes. Each place is uniquely suited to connecting with the divine energy that surrounds us all. You probably have at least one or two of these high vibrational places near your home!

1. The Top of a Hill

She needs wide open spaces….” Do you know that song? Are you that woman? (I am!)

Standing atop a hill, the world stretches out beneath you. The way the vast expanse of the sky meets the land below gives you so much energetic room. Room that feels, to me anyway, quite freeing.

At the top of a hill, the elevation seems to bring clarity and a feeling of possibility. This makes hilltops an ideal spot for meditation, prayer, and deep introspection.

A hilltop that looks over a city or town at night can be especially magical. All those twinkling lights. So beautiful! So thrilling!

The panoramic view from a hilltop also serves as a visual reminder of the bigger picture of life. The feeling you get up high on a hill can be truly inspiring. It reminds us that we are a small part of a grander universe. This perspective allows our worries to fade away as we connect with divine energy.

2. A Wide Open Field

Magical high vibration field

Like a hilltop, a tranquil open field is one of the best magical high vibration places to go for spiritual purposes.

Picture yourself amidst a vast expanse of grasses, wildflowers dancing in the breeze, and the warm rays of the sun kissing your skin. Here, in this open space, the energy of nature thrives. You can feel it! Fields seem to invite us to connect with our spirituality in profound ways.

Fields are wonderful places to go to escape the confines of walls and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the natural world. The symphony of sounds, from the rustling leaves to the chirping birds, becomes a soothing melody that lulls us into a state of calmness. Surrounded by this living tapestry, we easily release stress and tension, making way for spiritual connection and rejuvenation.

The vibrancy of life that flourishes in a field is a reminder of the infinite possibilities that exist within and around us. By grounding ourselves in this abundant energy, we can tap into our innate creativity and channel it into our spiritual practices.

3. A Body of Water

The sense of serenity which accompanies the presence of a tranquil body of water cannot be denied.

Whether it be the gentle lapping of waves against the shore, the stillness of a serene lake, or the majestic flow of a river, water holds unique magical energy. Energy that can help open psychic pathways to spiritual awakening and deep contemplation of life.

Water mirrors the ebb and flow of life itself. It symbolizes the essence of emotions, intuition, and spiritual growth. Being close to a body of water, no matter what type, allows us to tap into its beautiful energy. Water’s energy rubs off on us, inspiring a sense of peace, clarity, and awe.

Have you ever looked at a stream, brook, or river and contemplated the fact that it (pretty much) never stops flowing? Have you ever thought of a river near you, and imagined it flowing while you sat there worrying? It never stops running; its reliability is enduring in a way that feels comforting.

What’s more, water seems to invite us to more deeply explore our thoughts, desires, fears, and dreams. Like a mirror, the body of water reflects back our true essence, allowing us to witness our own growth, transformation, and spiritual evolution.

4. The Forest

Magical forest

The forest, with its vibrant and diverse ecosystem, is an incredibly magical high vibration place filled with positive energy.

The forest is a sanctuary of flora and fauna. It’s easy to feel connected with the spiritual essence of nature when you spend time in the woods.

As we enter the forest, a sense of awe washes over us. The scent of earth and moss surrounds us. The gentle rustling of fall leaves might make you smile at the chipmunks, and wonder where the fairies are hiding. Forests are so beautiful and special.

It seems like dense foliage is a natural portal, separating us from the outside world and inviting us to disconnect from the distractions of daily life. Within a forest sanctuary, it’s easier to connect with our intuition, talk to God/ the Universe, and connect with nature.

The forest is a place of deep healing and restoration, where the stress and worries of everyday life melt away. Surrounded by the vibrant hues and texture of moss, trees, leaves, and more, we find solace and peace in the arms of Mother Nature.

The forest is the perfect place to engage in meditative walks, journal, practice grounding exercises, pray, or simply sit in stillness, allowing the beautiful vibrations of the earth to recharge your spirit.

5. The Top of a Parking Garage

Live in the city?

It might sound strange, but the wide open space available at the top level of a parking garage can be an awesome place to pray, meditate, journal, or simply relax. The views can be incredible, and so long as you walk, it’s free.

As you ascend to the rooftop, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city below, you’ll find yourself in a space that offers a unique vantage point for introspection and contemplation.

From this elevated position, the world can be seen and felt in a different light. Surrounded by the urban landscape, the sprawling city can be quite beautiful. At night, lights painting the night sky and the distant horizon stretching as far as the eye can see, you can truly gain a fresh perspective on life and the interconnectedness of humanity.

What’s more, the top of a parking garage offers seclusion and solitude amidst the urban chaos. There are not too many people hanging around up there, most of the time. (Obviously, be safe and aware of your surroundings in places such as this, as well as in every place mentioned in this list.)

That being said, the top of a parking garage is an excellent high vibrational space to set intentions, pray, and invite divine guidance into our lives.

6. Inside an Old World Building

Old world building

Generally, you can consider old-world buildings anything built in the 1800s or earlier. You know them when you see them, as these buildings are made of brick and/or stone with features such as columns, arches, domes, pediments, stained glass, giant doorways, etc, etc.

Old-world buildings are steeped in history, secrets, and a unique spiritual ambiance. They have been repurposed for many uses, and they are everywhere. Consider places such as:

  • Churches
  • Libraries
  • City Halls
  • Train Stations
  • College Campuses
  • Post Offices

These architectural wonders are like portals connecting us to the wisdom of the past. After all, we can’t and don’t build them like they used to.

In fact, there is growing discussion that our civilization didn’t build these buildings, that much of history is a big fat lie, and that “founded” means these old-world structures were literally found and then reclaimed. Founded= found dead. Many old-world buildings could be much, much older than we are told.

At any rate, the beauty of these old buildings can inspire awe, fascination, appreciation, and curiosity. These places are incredibly high vibrational- no doubt about it.

Old-world buildings are magical high vibration places that not only ignite our imagination but also fuel spiritual awakening. They are terrific places for many spiritual practices. (Although you might get some funny looks for praying in your local post office, lol!)

7. Under a Tree

Under a tree

Beneath a tree, we find a beautiful sanctuary for spiritual connection.

There is something so peaceful and grounding about being under a tree. It’s a space where you can think, contemplate life, and feel at ease.

Under the protective branches of a tree, there’s a sense of comfort and safety. Leaning against the trunk of a tree, you might even be able to feel what I call “tree energy.” Have you tried it? If not, I highly recommend it!

Tree energy is so calming; way better than any substance we could ever smoke or drink. Trees offer strength, resilience, serenity, and spiritual nourishment.

Trees are the physical embodiment of beauty, balance, and harmony. With roots that delve deep into the Earth, trees ground us and provide a feeling of stability. Simultaneously, with branches that reach toward the heavens, trees invite us to expand our consciousness and connect with God.

  1. These are indeed beautiful places for calming down, meditation and spiritual practices! I also like graveyards/cemeterys because they are so peaceful and in my opinion they are high vibration magical places, too. There are so many spirits, those of the dead, those of the trees growing around the graveyard,… I enjoy visiting them.
